Q: Does Dr. Edwards participate with private insurance plans?
A: Yes, Dr. Edwards is a participating provider with almost all insurance plans from this region. We would be happy to check on any insurance plan!
Q: What kind of treatment does your doctor offer?
A: We offer an array of treatment options including medication therapy and injection therapy. Injections include Botox for migraine or neck muscle persistent spasm, Synvisc, an artificial joint fluid for knee pain, steroid injections into epidural space, muscles or joints. We also offer the BioTE hormone supplement pelleting program and Stem Cell therapy. Additionally, we provide referrals for physical therapy, aquatic therapy, modalities etc.
Q: Can I get a three month prescription for some medications?
A: Three-month prescriptions are available for some non-controlled medications.
Q:What types of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and personal checks. Payment in full is required at each appointment.
Q: Do you take Medicare and Medicaid?
A: Yes. We welcome Medicare as well as Medicaid.
Q: What do I need to bring to my first appointment?
A: You need to provide us with a Government Issued picture ID such as a Driver's license, insurance card(s), any co-pay you might have and a pharmacy profile from the last six months from each pharmacy used in that period.
Q: How long is a first appointment?
A: The initial consultation may range anywhere from one to two hours depending upon patient complexity.
Q: I lost my medications. Can you call in more to get me to my next appointment?
A: Our office policy states narcotic medications cannot be filled early unless authorized by our physician due to extenuating circumstances.
